Up and Coming Designer: Ashard Richley
Up and Coming Designer: Ashard Richley
A new name has made it's way into the world of handbags. And that name is Ashard Richley! But who is Ashard Richley? Founded by Ashley and Richard Burghardt in August 2009, Ashard Richley strives to create fashionable handbags that won't break the bank. The real brains behind the designs, however, is Ashley. The Texas Tech University grad worked for both Be&D and Coach before taking the plunge and pursuing her very own handbag collection. And so far, I am liking what I am seeing! The handbags are fun and a little bit edgy -- perfect for the woman who is looking for something unique. Think bright colors, bold hardware, and... girlie ruffles? Yes, there are actually some styles that have all three! But what I like most about these handbags is the fact that they are so affordable. So don't be afraid to experiment a little -- indulge in something funky and fun!
The Riley Clutch (AR Black Label Collection) is by far my favorite style and it has apparently been one of Ashard Richley's best sellers. This spacious clutch features double openings and layered interior pockets. The unusual shape and bright color will allow this clutch to make a major statement!
Leather/Suede
Currently available for Pre-Order ($185)
I am also liking this Aziza Shoulder Bag (Ashard Richley Collection). The different sized studs and the asymmetrical flap give this bag an edgy look. I also love the multiple chain strap -- so cool! This bag would fit in perfectly with the ever-popular, rocker-chic look!
Faux Leather
$88

I really like the clutch. It's just so neat looking. I wonder what the inside looks like. The description says something about layered interior pockets.

I don't really understand the design of it. Does it open on both sides or does only one of the claps open? I would really love to see detail pictures.

It says it opens on both sides. I'm really curious as well, I wish they had inside pics for it.

Love the structured envelope look. But wonder how it will hold stuff if it opens from both sides

The clutch is absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe how affordable the bags are. I might as well invest in some good pieces. I suppose following my bag ban isn't working out. Besides, I'm not really spending much anyways.
For every fake bag you buy, you're supporting terrorism, child labor, and other cruel things.
