I love the detailed review and that bag is beautiful! I saw a forest green tote by Junior Drake at a boutique today. Seriously marked down but not enough to justify. Maybe it will be marked down further...*crossing fingers*

Hmmm - I guess I like the title of 'Emerging Purse Designers"...
Well, I have been keeping an eye over great Indie brands here in Vancouver - and around...

Loved Erin Templeton - home | erin templeton

and Ashely Watson - ashley watson | recycled leather

Ora Bags - Ora Recycled Leather Bags

....only to name a few. There are lots of great independent brands that are not willing to be mass produced, they're very fashion forward and quality is great.

Thanks for sharing those designers jolanta The Ashley Watson bags seem pretty cool. I love the "recycled leather" concept.

the-artful-bag is worth taking a look at if you like luxury clutch bags similar to juidth leiber.
I have purchased 3 bags from this site over the past couple of weeks and the quality is stunning.
I had an email from them last week showing they are going into rattan clutch bags too- perfect for summer - happy me

I would not consider Kooba lesser known at all...not too many people might know of it because the handbags are relatively expensive.

Anyone here bought Pierotucci, an Italian brand? Gorgeous! with delicious leather and made in Italy.

I was considering Piero Tucci's wallets for my boyfriend this christmas, but we went with Dionigi instead...handmade leather goods.

Christopher Kon is a Canadian designer who has some gorgeous bags.

T'Angella (tea-an-gel-la). The bags are fairly new to the market. I like her bags because they have an attached bible/book case on them. It makes it easier to bring my book with me when I do my day-to-day activities.

Bolzano Handbags is a great affordable line of fine leather handbags and accessories.
I like when people are interested in knowing more about emerging designers and not so much for designers that have millions to spend it on advertising. :)
