Default The Miche Bag.

So have you ever heard of the Miche Bag? I saw them while i was late night channel surfing. They are actually a pretty interesting concept. The concept is what if you could simply change the outside of your handbag, instead of changing purses all the time? Now you can. How this works is on the outside of the basic black shell are eight credit card safe magnets, and when you want to change bags, you simply change shells. Would i buy this? No way, not only are these shells pretty pricey with prices ranging from $25.00 to $35.00 for just one shell, but with the median price being $25 i calculated that at price if you bought all the $25 shells, you'd have spent $500+ and for that you could buy that Miu Miu clutch or those Jimmy Choo sandals you been eyeballing on Net-A-Porter or that money could go toward a bag fund, but and more importantly i don't think they or the straps on the bag are leather, i can't tell and it doesn't say on the website. And i don't carry pleather, leather lookalike, leather like, or one of the many names for what is just cheap crap which won't last even a year and which is bad for the environment! I will admit that some of the shell designs are pretty cute and they do have a lot of variety, but you won't see me carrying this. Miche Bag - Official Miche Bag - Home

It is an interesting idea but I never would carry one. One of the reasons is that I like having purses of different shapes. Some days I feel like a speedy, others I want a tote, etc. I think I would get bored with the same sized bag every day. And I didn't find many shells I liked. A few were cute, but most weren't my taste.

Interesting concept. I'm not sure if I would ever own one. Made me think of changing shells like on a cell phone.

I've seen this in telly, they featured it on an Australian morning show... I don't like it too though... The shape is a bit odd and I don't like the shell designs they have

Thumbs up Re: The Miche Bag.

I purchased a Miche Bag last December and loved it SO much I became a rep in March. As long as the purse is a size you can live with it is a fabulous idea to not have to change your purse every day to match your outfit. I am told that the company is working on a larger bag of some type but is just in the initial stages.

As for the website/infomercial. I agree the pricing is pretty high and when you buy from the infomercial or QVC you cannot pick the shells that you want - they are prepackaged. However as a representative I offer bundles at MUCH better pricing and you can choose any shells that you like. At any given time there are approximately 40 active shells. Should anyone like more information please pm me.

Honestly, until you see one in person and can play with changing the shells, don't write it off.

I like the concept, I just like a bigger bag! Someone needs to invent a tote that has a fabric liner and you snap on different outer bodies or something like that.
