OMG! I just saw a commercial for this! Hahahaha! You know, the commercial was actually kind of annoying. Not annoying like the "Head-On" commercials, but still pretty annoying. The concept is interesting but I don't find the bag to be all that attractive. I mean, it's just a boxy, rectangle "tote" looking satchel. Nothing special about it.

Cute idea I guess for someone who likes the same bag all the time just in different themes.I think it is a little "trendy" or "theme-ish" for my tastes.Kinda like the John Deer purses or the ones with dogs on them.LOL But whatever floats ur boat.:)

I have seen infomercials on this bag many times.

I don't know why, but i associate this bag to the leagues of granny afghans and the like
(no offense meant, it just feels a little outdated and boring to me)

Icky!! My Aunt and Dad actually teased me about this bag once, since they know I'm a handbag addict. Thankfully mom defended me and said "oh, it's ugly and cheap and too old.." phew. Then one day I saw one of those gondola booths in the mall, selling these.

    NO thank you!

OK you all.... I need to revive this subject about these bags

I got together with a friend this week and she had this cute pewter bag with chain shoulder straps, and I asked where she got it and it was a Miche bag!!
Yes.... those bags that you can change in 3 seconds or less :)

I always made fun of these til I saw hers, it was really nice.

she said she even uses the side pockets and they have never come away from the magnets that keep the outer shell on, she has over 12 shells now!!
this picture of the silver one is hers without the black handles, just the chain ones...
pewter..JPG she said she gets compliments daily on her bags.

I did a little research and they do look way better than they used to, more style to them, they had all different handles, and the shells are more like outer bags you slip the shell into....
I posted a few pictures of the newer styles....
    purple..JPG tansmall..JPG

And now they offer a bigger bag
    the base bigbasic..jpg
    and the outer shell

I was really impressed seeing hers IRL, I really liked the chain straps.

So ladies and gentlemen...I would love to hear your opinions on the newer versions??

Its a definite improvement but still isn't what I'm attracted to.
For every fake bag you buy, you're supporting terrorism, child labor, and other cruel things.

Thanks Kammy for the opinion, I don't know if I would ever carry these either, It just really looked good on her, not that stiff boxy thing they started with......

My friend is very fashion forward, and to see her with this bag, I just kind of wanted to see what you all thought ???
I guess if she is happy......... then that is all that matters though.

    Thanks for the opinion Vidya!!

It's funny... she has many high end bags, we always get together and at least one of us will have a new bag to share....
but this one surprised me....it's as if I need to justify her carrying this bag or something.
I know that is weird, Right??

I'm the kind of (mentally) secure woman who was raised to think for myself and could give a rat's *** what someone else thinks about what I wear or want. With that said, I have bought clothes and other items from flea markets, tag sales, thrift and consignment shops and having folks ooh and ahh over my finds because I have such *good* tastes! Anyhoo, I haven't yet seen a Miche' up close and personal but I'm looking forward to it and make a rational judgement for myself. Not what others think they know (based on pictures or hearsay) but what I've seen with my own 2 eyes. If I like something, I like it...and generally, others will, too. As they say, "Everything Ain't Meant For Everybody" so, I don't worry about what someone does...or doesn't like. Only what I do.

Hey Jeanie...is your friend a rep?

P.S--Miche' appears to have come a LONNNNG ways since its' (humble) beginnings! I've seen some video of their newer 2011 handbags, and I likey! That Cancer Survivor (Hope) bag looks very interestingly, nice! I'd happily wear it...

Yeah, I know how you feel. I saw a lady in the mall wearing a *fake* Mink. Nod's to the great pain's they took to make it look as real as possible...but I wouldn't wear one. Not into the fake stuff!
