I had a Christian Dior listing up... and eBay took it down.. WHY??? They said I have a listing violation... calling my item fake. My wristlet is in no way shape or form fake.. and I have the tags to prove it!!!

So ridiculous!!!!

Hm, I would try emailing eBay with more pictures & ask them WHY they took down and authentic bag. Sometimes, if you have an authentic bag...but not alot of pictures, people think it's fake. If I were you - get in touch with eBay, get it straightened out. Then I would re-list it with TONS of pictures that are big and detailed (use some sort of image hosting site so that way you won't have to pay to upload them through eBay). Good luck!!!!



Gosh, I hate how eBay is so quick to remove authentic bags - but leaves fake bags up.

I know soo rediculous... maybe people would put more pictures up if their listing prices weren't so high. Trust me... They will not here the end of me. They are so stupid.. maybe they should higher purse authenticators!!! They sent me a message how I was selling a FAKE... and it's against the law.. and ebays rules. SO rediculous! I'm SOOOOO mad!! I wrote them back a lonngggggg message saying how I have the tags to prove its real!!! They should at least contact u wanting proof its real!

DO NOT upload pictures through eBay! They charge you for it! LOL! Make an account at photobucket.com and use that! It's free and you can use as many pics as you want!

Oh I contacted customer service.. and I went to live chat and told them my situation... and they told me I can get my auction reinstated.. because I have proof its real.. so I had to write... The listing customer service too. So mad.. stupid ebay.

I've heard that happening so many times, it's ridiculous--them taking down real listings, yet there will be a sh-t ton of fakes staying up. :closedeyes:
I agree with JessLR-- use photobucket or something. Don't give eBay more money!

Yeah, sorry you had to go through this. I have heard that it is happening to everyone though, people who are selling authentic LVs and such getting delisted but fakes staying on there. It's really messed up. Hope it gets straightened out.

I heard that if you include a "disclaimer" on there such as, "guaranteed authentic or your money back" that it is less likely for it to be taken down.

Actually, most of the time ebay doesn't pull items for being fake unless other ebayers report it as "counterfeit." It doesn't take much for LV or Chanel listings to get pulled, so this opens the door for underhanded competitors to report authentic bags as fakes to get the listings pulled. A fake Marc Jacobs bag, for example, won't be pulled until enough people report it.

so sorry to hear this happening to you... One seller I know that sells authentic bags also got her listing pulled... And its really annoying... so good luck... I wish someone would invent something that will compete with ebay so people won't have to use it so much...

I heard of this happening to so many people, and their stuff was authentic. I guess if the item gets flagged, like if more than one person reports it then it will get removed.

Sorry this happened to you Marissa, ebay sucks. I listed a pair of shoes I bought a few months ago for 100 dlls and they sold for 20, Gosh I was so sad. I have not shipped them yet, I wish I had reserve set up

Ebay wrote me back! They said they looked at my listing and my items are FAKE! They said "It's against the law and ebays rules to sell fake designer goods on ebay." This is rediculous... if they had a number I'd tell them off like there is no tomorrow. This is absolutely rediculous! I even have the tags to prove my wristlet and head band are not fake.. I bought it at the Christian Dior store.

So rediculous.. .I'm furious
