Gee... wish I could find something like that around here. Unfortunately, I live in the middle of cheapos-ville. No one would have an authentic LV at a garage sale, let along own one. Okay, I might be exaggerating a teeny bit... I do help a lady at the store I work at that has an authentic speedy.

OMG... no way. That's awesome... I wish that would happen to me too.. but I'm sure that happens a lot. My dad.. went to an estate sale once... and the kids mother died. They were all in their 20's - 30's... and they were selling everything. My dad saw these ruby earrings.. and the boy goes they are fake.. how about 5 bucks? My dad got them appraised... they are real. Person said they are worth 500 - 1K. So I'm sure... if the person isn't knowledgeable.. lots of things that are worth a lot can be found cheap.

Hmm... I guess I did know someone who bought an ipod on ebay for $10. The person selling it said that it didn't work and they didn't know what was wrong with it. Well, it turned out that it just needed a new battery! LOL!

Ya I know!! My dad always gets deals like that. Once he found 4 cameras.. this ladies husband died... and she sold all 4 for 10 bucks. Well... she didn't know that Nikon, Minolta, and 2 other brands (can't remember) are super expensive. My dad sold all 4 cameras for 450 dollars. So it's possible to find things that are worth tons and the person selling just had no idea what it's worth.

my luck just isn't that great. i'd have to send it back cause it would be fake and you all know the drill of trying to get your money back. that would be my ordeal.

Garage sales & estate sales are the best. I found a 14k gold bracelet at a garage sale last year for 25 cents.... Nothing too fancy about it, but I love it and it was a quarter. I LOVE it!
