I'm glad there are concerned people who are trying to stop these fraudulent sellers. While I am still wary of shopping through eBay, I take solace in knowing there are compassionate people who are willing to help.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am a victim of "dancing*in*my*manolos" as well. My husband bid and was able to win and purcahse the bag she was selling. This all happened exactly a month ago. We have received a package and inside it was a "bath book" and used jeans. She has been giving us the same replies posted by other victims on this thread... in the hospital, family emergency, all that crap. WE have filed with AMEX and Ebay. I am hoping and praying that we get our money back. It saddens me because this bag was supposed to have been my bday/valentines gift. I was better off with no gift with the money still in our bank. I hope that this person gets caught. Any advice or help would be very much be appreciated.

BTW inventing the death of one's mother is the lowest of lows. tsk tsk manolo!

Unbelievable! It's so sad to hear about people like this. How could someone so willingly inflict such deceit/fraud/harm on another person.
