Geez that's terrible; to think that she might try to pull a switch!! She already admitted to having another Cabas Piano so you have proof in case she tries anything fishy. People like her make me sick, trying to take advantage even after she got it for that price! And what's up with paypal?! Can they just issue a refund without your consent like that? I hope everything works out

Ya she did!! That's the thing, She said she's sending the bag to Mypoupette (and I hope she really is) to get it authenticated. My goodness, I don't know why she's avoiding going to the LV boutique, it's much easier!! And plus by the time she gets the bag back, the claim might escalate. But as you can see, she doesn't care about it escalating...what a mean, horrible lady!!

Lynpink - Did you check out the ebay link I gave? It tells you what to do if you're a seller that has been defrauded.

And yes ladies, Paypal can and will refund the money of a buyer if they complain an item was "not as described". They usually take the side of the buyer first!

Lynpink - You need to get a hold of ebay ASAP and prove to them that the item is authentic. I really do hope that she mails the actual bag to My Poupette... hehe, then she'll have to apologize to you for such nonsense.

Hi! Thanks for the link but I think it's for buyers who are claiming that haven't received their item.

It's for sellers who said that they shipped the item, but the buyer is being a poopie head and claiming they didn't receive it. But there's also a link for reporting internet fraud... this would apply to the seller if they feel that the buyer is trying to pull something. Since the buyer did a chargeback and they still have your item, you can also file an unpaid item dispute.

Yeah, Paypal is "holding" the money til the dispute is over and who knows when this will end. My goodness this is becoming a nightmare for me!! I just wrote to Paypal and chatted live with ebay! Ebay seemed really helpful but I wrote to Paypal twice making sure I didn't leave ANYTHING out. I want to end this ridiculous fiasco myself!!

My bag has the new hardware but apparently this d*mba*s doesn't know about it. I've told her about it but she doesn't want to hear it. I've been so kind to her and she called me "pathetic"!!!

Just a suggestion but how about sending your listing to my poupette yourself with the special request that a copy of the results be also sent to the buyer, Paypal, and eBay? It may cost you $5 but at least you'll feel vindicated and be prepared to fight her with documents from your side as well.

Also, maybe you can ask her to be very specific about the parts that make her believe it's not authentic. That way, if she returns the bag, it had better match what she said was wrong with it. If she returns you a bait and switch bag, it probably won't have the details she said was wrong with it in the first place.

Bottom line, your strategy really depends on figuring out whether she's genuinely mistaken and just being stubborn in her disbelief, or she planned a scam all along. Just in case of the latter, try to get her to disclose as much about herself as possible. Do you have her real name, phone number, and home address?

Mutual negative feedback can be removed by ebay but it may be a good idea to include follow up comments directed to future buyers just for the record like stating, "my poupette confirmed bag was authentic, copies available upon request" or something similar.

Thanks so much for the suggestion!! I doubt she'll do the switch because she assured me she won't. I posted on the purse forum and she read all the posts. I will follow-up on the comment! THANKS SO MUCH!!

Sounds good... I agree with the suggestion about contacting My Poupette yourself. You need to keep the communication going with both ebay and Paypal and FIGHT! This buyer could genuinely be mistaken and acted too hastily in her actions... or it could be something else. Either way, you do have rights as a seller as well. Hehe... you could always take her on Judge Judy! LOL!

Thanks for the update, I'm glad to hear she dropped the dispute - I'm thinking she did have it authenticated and is just too stubborn to admit it. However, what a shame that now you have another buyer to be concerned about, just goes to show how much influence one instance of negative feedback can have. I hope you are able to have it removed, I'm crossing my fingers for ya.

Thank you! I actually just canceled my ebay account (takes a month or so) She was still harassing me and I just couldn't deal with it anymore. She responded to the feedback I left her saying:

Follow up by aka426:LEAVEME ALONE!!RUKIDDINGME!!BUG OFF!!!

Funny thing is I never said anything to her...I'm trying to let this thing go but since she lost the case, she has nobody but me to take it out on!

Man, I am so sorry this happened to you! I've been a member of eBay for years and myself bought a fake Fendi and didn't know it until it was too late, but that was my fault and I didn't leave negative feedback, because it was my fault for falling for it! I was looking for a "bargain" and I got one...LOL! I just carry the purse places where I know the women won't even know if it's real or not, or carry it where the logo doesn't show...LOL! That's when I decided to join this forum to find out about the real ones! Not that I could ever afford one though, but hey, it's nice to dream!
