Out of 2,905 Louis Vuitton items in the "Women's Handbags and Bags" category, I reported over 40 items.
Seriously eBay... WTH!
Most of them were MC Pochettes, which were disgustingly fake!
The bad fakes aren't the ones that make me nervous, it's the good ones! There were 2 Graffiti Speedys on there that looked so good, except for the fact that the pink wasn't bright.
I know I love buying off Ebay so good/almost similar fakes scare me

I went through and did that the other day! It was so frustrating looking for one and all I kept finding was replicas and fakes for up to $200! the worst part is only a few of them were shut off
Fakes on ebay is nothing new. They will always be there unless ebay hires people to scan and report listings, something it would never do because it costs money.

the point isn't that it's something new, but constantly growing. eBay doesn't need to hire people to report listings because MANY of the people who love luxury goods report them. i feel like if you love luxury bags, and you love looking for deals on places like eBay, you have sort of a small part in helping report them.
I agree, but lately eBay has not been doing much to remove the listings reported. They used to be a bit better about it, but for some reason it seems like they have given up or maybe have plans to handle the fakes differently. I don't know, but I remember reporting fakes and seeing them removed, not anymore.
Those rats selling fakes easily do get prey, and that probably scares ME the most; because so many people don't bother taking time as a handbag lover to actually study what is real and what isn't. Yet, on the other hand, I feel like they deserve it because they are too lazy to study up their bag-knowledge.
The least a buyer could do to spot a fake is to look at all pictures given, and from background knowledge, find flaws in the purse that a real handbag would not normally have.
