Re: Does anyone know of any ebooks on selling handbags on eBay?
I think selling handbags are the same as to selling any other stuff, no?. If so, The other day I saw on T.V about a program that teaches you to Buy/sell on ebay for free. I cant seem to remember the name. If I see it on T.V again...I can get the number for you.

Are you referring to the "Video Professor" series? Some older bald guy who says "I can't claim I'll make you a millionaire....but get my video...blah blah blah"?
Re: Does anyone know of any ebooks on selling handbags on eBay?
Why do you need a book on how to sell handbags on ebay? I mean, ebay is pretty much self-explanatory. Just do some completed listings searches for the bag you're selling so you can see how much they are going for. And then make sure to take lot's of clear photos so people can see that the bag is authentic and what flaws it may have. And that's about it. What were you having trouble with? Maybe we can steer you in the right direction.

Thanks for the tips ... guys I appreciate ... BRS ... it is easy to list but how do you get it to really sell ? This is wilth all the competition, do you advertise outside of eBay ? How do you price ? What margin is okay ? Just in general what designer name is most in demand ? Where do people buy the bags to resell. Sorry I have sooo many questions .....just want to start a small bus from home .
Re: Does anyone know of any ebooks on selling handbags on eBay?
Getting something to really sell is sometimes just the luck of the draw. KWIM? You can't always predict what people will want and when they will want it. But I think if you have something that is nice and there aren't too many others out there on ebay, then it should sell okay. When I've sold stuff on ebay, I've never advertised anywhere else. I like to include as much info as I can in the title though like style name, color, and style number (if available). I take LOTS of detailed pictures using the macro setting on the camera. You can post pics on ebay without paying the fees for it. Simply upload the pics to an image hosting account (i.e. photobucket) and paste the URLs into the item description using the HTML mode. As far as pricing goes, do completed listing searches. If the item has been selling for less than what you would like to get for it, then you're screwed. I don't know what to tell you as far as what designers are in the most demand, I think that changes constantly. I think there are "professional" sellers on there that buy their bags from overstocks. The problem with that is you have to buy A LOT of stuff, like a whole truck load. It's obvious though that a lot of people buy stuff from the outlets to resell as well. This is especially true for Coach bags. My advice to you is to not get your hopes up too high. With the economy the way it is right now, I would imagine that ebay is a pretty hostile place.

Oh, I guess I should mention not to fall for those overstock, wholesale, etc etc websites that pop up when you google it. About 99% of those websites are either scams or they sell fakes.
