Question Is there a market for dust covers/boxes?

I'm just wondering if there is a market on eBay or else where for dust covers or boxes for purses. I have a few dust covers that are mismatched and boxes (LV, etc) that take up space in my closet. I'm not too interested in keeping them, but I hate to just throw them out.

Would these 'accessories' be something you would actively seek out on eBay or Craigslist or am I better off throwing them out to make some space?

Your thoughts??

I've seen dust bags listed on eBay before. I'm sure someone would want one if their bag didn't have one.

I would want them! I don't think you would have a problem selling them!

I would want them, too. I'm missing a couple dust bags and I would love to be able to get a couple more.

I know me too - I have a few bags without dust covers and boxes.

I gave away the one for my Thompson Street when I sold my Pap bc I wanted the person I sold it to to have one.

I read in eBay community and selling dust bag and boxes on eBay is no longer allowed.

Better to bring it to a consignment store

Seriously? Is there "dust bag fraud" going on? eBay is getting worse and worse.

Can you PM me the link where it shows what you can/cannot sell?

I actually posted a thread regarding dustbags. I heard from a friend that eBay thinks it encourages counterfeits, etc. Maybe you can try selling at Bonanzle? I know someone who's selling dustbags there (who eBay was giving problems to for the reason stated).

This became a recent issue for me since I was looking for large JuicyC dustbags. I complained to RUElala that my Daydreamer didn't come with one when I think it should have.

I always seem to lose dustbags. I think they run off with the socks to leave me with a bunch of socks that don't match and bags that aren't in the cover they should be.

Yah, it's pretty stupid that ebay won't go after all the fakes/counterfeit listings, but will go after the actual dustbags that come with authentic bags.

I'd list them on bonanzle or ecrater. I know there are many people that want them (myself included).

I'd love to get my hands on extra dust bags or boxes, but ebay doesn't allow you to sell them anymore. I'm not sure if it's allowed on Bonanzle.. maybe check that out?

I still seem to be able to get it off Ebay UK, maybe the rules are stricter for Ebay due its bigger market?
Just bought Prada, Alaia and Bally dustbags and; Tods and Prada boxes in the past week.

I was going to say, "Sure, it shouldn't be a problem" until I read fellow members messages.

Reason being, I put five CHANEL hangers on eBay and they went for $25. In my mind, I was like "Wow, you have got to be kidding me." AND the CHANEL garment bag went for $20. Then, I just stopped thinking.
