Re: Is there a market for dust covers/boxes?
I was loooking for some dust covers myself. I did a Google search and found a site called Mia Cotone Handbag Dust Covers....check it out. They come in all colors to coordinate with your handbags. I too lose my covers somehow or they just have fallen apart. I recently bought a Gucci bag, put it in it's dust cover, pulled the drawstring and it tore!

Re: Is there a market for dust covers/boxes?
I took another look at those Mia covers again. They aren't cheap but I did look at the specs - they are heavy cotton, anti-dust liner, interior pocket and made in the usa....there are other things too that I didn't mention. I think I am trying to talk myself in to buying one! I love the colors! It would make finding my handbags a lot easier too!

Re: Is there a market for dust covers/boxes?
when I get a bag without a dustbag, I usually just stick it in a pillow case - that works!

Re: Is there a market for dust covers/boxes?
My poor speedy doesn't have one. And If I got an Ebay account, i would deffinantly get one. But I have seen people using pillow cases, with iron-on pictures of the purses that they put in the pillow case.
Forexample:
A pillow case for my speedy. I would take a picture of my speedy, then make it so that I could iron it on fabric, then put my speedy in it. So that I can see what bag is in my dustbag. :)

Re: Is there a market for dust covers/boxes?
Your idea with the iron on and pillowcase is great but I just wouldn't take the time to do that. I just don't have that kind of time. I don't have enought itme to do the things that I have to! It is a nice idea to put forth the effort.

Re: Is there a market for dust covers/boxes?
I heard the same thing with ebay not allowing the sale of dust bags and boxes. They say that it encourages people to buy the authentic dust bags and sell the counterfeit bags with them. Anyone who has knowledge of authentic Louis Vuitton can tell most of the time from pictures if the bag is authentic or not. Although I will say that the counterfeiters have really begun to make exact bags (well not really but that is what they call them). You can always tell when you touch them though.

Re: Is there a market for dust covers/boxes?
Yes, definantly! - I use one of my LV dust covers to hold my camera in my purse and little lv boxes on my nightstand to put my rings in when putting lotion on.

You can go to Mia Cotone Handbag Dust Covers. I have been buying dust covers from this site and they are awesome! They just introduced 2 more styles. I have been organizing my handbag collection by color. It couldn't get much easier. I find that I am using handbags I forgot I even had.
