Any tips?

I'm very interested in a specific bag, but it's condition is listed a "gently used". What exactly does that mean? No flaws are listed in the description.

So you have an ebay account already? If not, make sure , just for ease of transaction, to email the seller to let her know you are new but would like to bid on that pretty bag.

The most important thing about purchasing off of Ebay is making sure the purse is authentic. If the girls here can't help you, ask around on other sites. I, personally, couldn't tell you whether that was authentic or not.

I think you should get this bag authenticated as I'm not sure it looks authentic. Although, I'm not an expert, the dustbag font looks too condensed and the you'll need close up of the tag and the reverse of the tag as well.

yea have it authenticated first, the dior thread would be helpful... I'm not an expert on Dior too... Be careful, it doesn't mean they are a powerseller that they are honest

Always check with others to determine authenticity if you are not 100% sure yourself. I'm sure the gals here or on other site will provide assistance as long as you provide a link and questions.

Sorry, I am a complete train wreck and throw about my stuff - what you're getting is roadkill.

Just make sure there are LOTS of pics and ask questions about anything that you think is off.

I sent the seller a message asking him to take a picture of the interior tag so I could authenticate. This was his reply:

Hello,
No need to authenticate
As stated in the auction this is a genuine Christian Dior
Thank You

I'm starting to get wary. I posted the link in the Dior forum to get it authenticated and it's kind of iffy. Is $150 to good to be true? I do love the color and the bag!

Is that supposed to be a Cannage bag, as shown on Elux here?

If so, the ebay bag is considerably less than retail, the seller isn't willing to post more photos.
Run the other way.
Shoot, and that red was so pretty too.
But keep searching, I wouldn't risk it. Sorry.

Well, gosh, if he says it's authentic, why have it verified?

Personally, I would run in the other direction and let someone else purchase the fake bag.

Isn't that the saying: If you think it's too good to be true....probably is.

I personally do NOT do business with sellers that do not take very detailed pics of the bag and it's condition, and won't respond to requests for additional information, including photos when they're not already posted.

I'd run from this one.

Yeah, I would agree with everyone. If the seller isn't willing to take a better pic of the inside tag then I would walk away from the bag.
