I hate when the pictures are crappy, the description states wrong info, and most importantly when the TITLE says "looks like" or says missoni or something and I click on it and then it says "missoni inspired" UUGGHH I hate that more than anything! and last... when the shipping is ridiculous!
I think that it's the pictures. If the pics are blurry, not enough of them, or even where the pics are taken. I tend to lean toward pics that are taken in someone's home versus trying to make the pics look like they were taken in a studio for a magazine. Especially if the person showing the handbags are wearing gloves...Big, Big turn off for me. Then there is the description. If the persons says that it's authentic, excellent condition, rarely used and it's not and the bag looks like it's been run over by a car or trampled on. Or the lack of description for that matter will definitely make me hit the back button.

Ever click on an auction that says it's for something you're looking for (e.g. like a handbag) and it turns out to be a fake auction that is really there to advertise porn? Yep... had that happen to me. ::shudder::

Yeah, you just get an unexpected flash of boobies when you were expecting to see something legit to buy. I don't if it happens as much anymore. For awhile though, they had some serious problems with ebay hijackers.
The first thing I always look at is the rating. If they have under 300 or have been a member for less than a year, I pass on to the next. Then I look to see if they've sold designer items in the past. Also if they have only stock photos or just basically cut and paste the description from a blog ( ) then I hit the back button.
