Default Dooney & Bourke Sweetheart Line

The symbolic heart has got to be American Brand Dooney & Bourkes favorite symbol to doodle onto their products. Do you all agree with me? Just picture most of Dooney’s colorful accessories and you’re sure to find a heart symbol on it somewhere. I wonder if it’s brought back by popular demand or simply a case of designer-block, but may I introduce to you Bagista’s the latest hearts design by Dooney & Bourke, meet the Sweetheart line!

I apologize to any Dooney & Bourke fans, but I can’t help to wonder what is wrong with its staff? Why can’t they seem to put down the box of color pencils and design something more sophisticated? They have such a strong company and the capability to hire actual designing artists. Until now, I speak for myself when I say that I’ll just sit back and see what else Dooney will apply to their goods. Although I honestly think I’ve seen it all. As for the “Sweetheart”, they’re not horrid, but just something I would never consider buying or wearing. Maybe if I belonged to the early teens crowd I’d be a fan, but other than that, I’ll keep my distance from this line.

^^^ LOL! Yeah, the original hearts were way better than this.

I just saw these at the store too... I wonder if I'll see any walking around at the mall.

seriously, why can't Dooney make some nice bags for once instead of producing disastrous and fugly designs...

Humm, not for me. I don't like the whole sketch look, where it looks like a 5 year olds coloring book. Crayon coloring outside of the lines is just not for me.

I actually like the sweetheart collection. They already make a lot of granny brown bags. Honestly if they didn't make colorful bags I probably wouldn't want any of their bags.

I like it too. That's the appeal of D&B to me. It's not like the other bags. Some of them are not cute to me, but I do think that D&B thinks outside of the box and I like that.

I absolutely love the dooney & bourke sweatheart line of purses! I wish they would bring more. You don't have to a teeny bopper to like. I am just young at heart. You can be sophiticated and fun loving with this purse. I wish they still carried the purple heart purse. Respect other peoples choices.
