Re: How does Dooney rank with you?
I have several all weather bags and I love them. They are a great "basic" bag and can really take a beating and last

Re: How does Dooney rank with you?
I don't really like db bags anymore. I would rather spend that much $ towards something else, better quality.

Re: How does Dooney rank with you?
Well I only have one db bag and its ok. I still like it but I wont use it anymore. I wouldnt bash them either it just depends where you stand with your preferences and budget. And their quality isnt that bad. I've had mine for 4yrs now and it still looks good.

Re: How does Dooney rank with you?
I think they're trying to appeal to a younger crowd, teens, early 20's which in my opinion is a smart move because they are branching out to another audience. If it had not been for their newer bags such as the stars collection or the sweetheart collection I probably wouldn't have much interest in them. It's also refreshing to see a good quality bag made cute and appealing rather than the traditional bags which are brown and really washed out such as the boring brown LV granny bags. I suppose a good comparison would be the wii, nintendo duh. It's doing so much better than ps3 because they are branching out to multi-player games and to an older audience, especially with the new wii fit. So dooney and bourke gets props I think.

Re: How does Dooney rank with you?
I used to LOVE dooney....and I do have more dooney than anything....BUT...i think they are leaning out of that classic look into a more "teen" look and I think somehow they have lost themselves in it all. Although they may not get the same crowd as the betseyville or lesportsac girls.....i think they need to stick with the more classic looks that have carried them through all these years.
I know I personally dont want a bunch of hearts on my bag that looks like a kindergarten student painted, or a bunch of wet paint hands plastered all over my bag, it's just not worth the money that you spend....

Re: How does Dooney rank with you?
I had a D&B wristlet in high school, but I grew out of it. I also had a D&B tote, but I wore it twice, and sold it to my friend for $100. I wanted the money more than the bag. For me, it just wasn't expensive enough. The quality wasn't high enough, and I wanted more classic and long-lasting bags.

Re: How does Dooney rank with you?
I used D&B when I was younger but I grew out of them very fast. there was one point where it seemed like eveyone had the same Dooney bags! I have about 3 "IT" bags in different colors because that was my fav dooney bag. i think back and I really didnt know what I was thinking.
