Okay, I just saw these at the store. When I saw them in the pics... I thought they were okay. But now... ewwww!
If you ever see one in person, they are made of this rubbery material. And sorta "engraved" into the material are little swirling lines. I think its supposed to make it look like "hair". Wouldn't it have been better if they had used fur for this design? ::shudder::

No way, the silk screen is much nicer and less offensive to animal lovers. Haircalf would have been fragile and peeled off. I prefer the silk screened leather. I use mine every day and I'm proud to own it. Don't care what others think.
