    Default The Vachetta Florentine Bag

What I like about this bag is the simple shape. It is a dome-like satchel with a top that folds down over itself. The result is a classic, but still somewhat casual look. Plus the leather looks so soft and smooth. No wonder I don't think it looks like a Dooney and Bourke bag! But maybe this is their new look? If it is, I must say I definitely like it. So much better than those horrible styles with the cowboy boots or whatever printed on them! Maybe if I decide to get a new Dooney and Bourke handbag, I will go with this one. But first I think I will see what my fellow TBFer has to say about it! The Dooney and Bourke Florentine is in Black, Chestnut, Natural, Fuchsia, Moss, Orange, or Red. Keep reading ~

It's kindof a cute bag. I love the side tassels. What's your favorite color?

Of course I love it! I've already purchased two in Moss, the regular size for my mom for Mother's Day and the small for moi!
BTW, my mom gets tons of compliments on it!!

I just can't believe this bag is by Dooney & Bourke. I mean it's been years since I've checked out their bags. Last thing I remember they were making pre-teen bags with scribbles, cartoons and drawings. This one I actually really love.

    How's the leather @Zombiegirl ?

OMG I know? It's the first D&B I've liked in over 18 years lol! The leather is thick but like butter!

I love the look of this bag. It looks classic and has the well-worn timeless look. Not something that would go in and out of fashion.

I am really impressed with this Dooney design...i never like their scottie dog, scribbles or other colorful lines, for that matter i don't like any scribbles, garffitti or similar designs, including LV's designs.

I saw this bag on sale for 60% off at a store called Macys in the US. The trim is an emerald green - a deal-breaker for me. I just couldn't get past that. Initially I fell hard for this bag and searched everywhere to get one. Only to see the interior trim, hidden in the pic above. You would have to go online to see a pic of the interior. Not for me....
