Default Dooney and Bourke handbag security

I am new to this forum and this, of course, is my initial post. My wife loves D & B handbags, therefore, I love D & B handbags. My initial purchase for her was a leopard embossed handbag that had one magnetic snap in the center area. Her complaint was that the side areas on either side of the snap were open and provided no protection from potential theft. Does anyone know why there are not more forms of security on hobos and the larger size handbags? Thanks for your time.

I think it has just been a general style with a lot of Dooney bags. Does she like the leather styles at all? There are quite a few leather ones with zipper closures. You said she likes hobos?

Thanks for the reply. She is not partial to any particular style or type of handbag. Whatever catches her interest, is open for scrutiny as to whether she is open to purchase it. I have seen some D & B handbags with the top zippers, but also others that have just the one snap. Does anyone who is a lover of D & B have a problem with just the one snap design? What methods are used to provide "peace of mind" for the contents of your handbags? Could velcro "spots" or "tabs" be inserted on the open ends to reduce the opening's size? Again, thanks for your suggestions and comments.

I don't think it's any different from "open" styles from other brands and designers. There are quite a few people who have LV Neverfulls on here and they don't seem too concerned about pickpockets. I guess they could chime in about it. Let's see, do I have any open bags? I have a lot of flap styles I guess. What about putting a purse organizer inside her bag? Would that help?
