So I have a signature fabric dooney tote that Ive had for about two months and Ive noticed in the corners of the bag on the bottom the fabric is starting to fray and almost look like the start of holes. I have been very careful about not putting this bag on the ground but find it odd to see this kind of wear this early on. I know not every bag is invincible but Ive only had it such a short time.....so my question is do I send the bag to dooney or do I take it back to Nordstrom?

Oh my gosh, only 2 months! That's ridiculous. Do you still have the receipt or tags? I would take it in to Nordstrom and see if they will let you return it.

Does Dooney still do the registration cards? I didn't think that they did those anymore. I would take it back to Nordstrom and throw a really big fit at them. I would think that they would at least let you exchange it.

Dooney still does registration cards. When i purchased a signature tote this April (still looking good), it came with a registration card that i filled out. I recd. acknowledgment from the company.

I would take the bag back to Nordstrom and also write a letter to Dooney. reputation makes a big difference to the bigger brand names.
The last time i complained about a stain on my leather couch that was a year old (i had a 2 year warranty), instead of arguing with the furniture store, i wrote to the President of the Couch company. Lo and behold, 2 months later, a brand new double recliner leather couch was delivered to my home

well the only thing is my mom got it for me as a graduation gift......soo I may talk to her about it or just take it to the store because i know they can look up the information

Sorry I'm a bit late to this but yes Nordstrom will take it back ask to talk to the store manager if they give you a hard time (there is always one on duty) and also talk to Dooney about it they should be able to help you as well HTH

The same thing happened to me last year. The bottom corners of my patent purple Dooney started to tear after 2 months. Since I bought it online, I sent it back and they sent me a new (different style) purse. I think that's the last time I'm gonna buy a Dooney.
