I still don't understand why people are afraid of snakes so much. Seriously, they can make very good pets. They're clean, they don't smell, they only eat once a week...

snakes are my phobia too.. I'm fine with needles, I'm a nurse.

I don't like snakes. But I like turtles and frogs...and salamanders! I kissed a salamander in 6th grade camp. Then I got sick a day later, lol (from a girl in my cabin though!).

I saw on Yahoo! Photos...a snake ate an ALLIGATOR, but died because of it. I hear too many bad stories about snakes eating pets it makes me dislike them.

Oh you mean the snake that burst open? It didn't die from eating the alligator. It died because they had injured their stomach previously and when it ate the alligator...

But don't be made at the large snakes in, say Florida, that have been eating people's pets. Be made at the stupid people that brought them here in the first place and let them go (or allowed them to escape). The snakes are just doing what comes naturally.

snakeskin bags just feel too weird for me. i am a HUGE animal lover, but i am so afraid of snakes. plus, i am a vegetarian and i could never see a poor little mouse die. it gives me goosebumps just to think about it.
