Yes, looks fake. Also...if you really paid $900 for something, why woudl you take $350 for it? I mean...I see getting $700 for it and losing $250...

I'd say leave it alone. It's really not your problem and it may be more a headache than it is worth to try to tell them that the bag is a fake...they already know it is a fake...

Hmm..I thought about messaging her - nicely, lol - and just saying 'Sorry, but that bag looks fake..'. I don't know if there even is a way to report stuff on that website. I've never had to do it before.

hi everyone, i was hoping you coachgirls could help me. are the legacy stripes lining suppose to match the stripes from the bottom and up the sides? here's a bag that doesn't have the stripes matching and i just don't know if it's real. don't want to bid unless i know. also, does the leather rectangle coach tag and gold coach circle, always hang together and do they always hang on the right or left front pocket, same for the coach retail tag...right or left?

It doesn't match the stock photo for that style. It kind of looks like the style, but there are features that are different. That's why I think something is weird about it.

fake the lining in the inside the color is off the outside isnt right either the trim is too wide(does that make sense?)

Yep, I agree. This is what I was talking about when I was talking about there being differences. Plus, there should be more space on the sides of the back between the outside edge and the flap pockets. In this one, the pockets are practically right on the edges of the bag... so its like the proportions are off.

She mentions something about a wallet that isn't pictured.. I'm not terribly familiar with coach, but maybe their wallets run high enough to make the retail for the two be $900+ But I agree with the previous poster that said this bag is fake. I know for a fact that coach doesn't use those metal grommet things (shown on the handles) and they're usually very meticulous when it comes to lining up the CCs on bags. They would never design something where the letters could not be spaced evenly and symmetrically on the center of the bag.

But on another note, I know that when I sell stuff I generally expect to only get about half to a third of what I paid since coach gets marked down and you can readily find things in the outlets.

^^^^^It's been a while since I've authenticated Coach, but there's something off about this and I can't place it. First, the seller is using a stock photo for his/her main pic and it's slightly different than the bag they have pics of - the ribbon on the bag was definitely tied on by someone other than Coach (you can tell b/c it's just not "perfect" the way it would be if it was done at the factory/store) and while that doesn't automatically mean anything, those two things, plus no pics of the creed, raise my suspicions a bit. I do tend to err on the overly-cautious side and be suspect of every little thing, so I could be wrong, but I'd at least ask for more pics of seams (to see how the C alignment is) and the creed as well as better pics of any hardware.

2gdfcs: sometimes, the ribbon gets messy beacuse people have been touching it a lot (when i was at the coach store yesterday, some of them were like that).

but you do have some really good points: the bag is a little bigger than what they are selling in stores and the seller's measurements keep changing (listing descriptions vs. answers from potential buyers), and how there is no serial number shown.

i asked for more pictures and why the seller is willing to sell the bag for $200 less than it is in stores.

ahh. i really hope this is authenticate, but if it's not, i guess i just have to save up :)

^^^^ I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and I will absolutely cop to being quick to say things are fake, but better to be safe than sorry! Let us know what happens!
