I was looking on one of the local-ran websites and there's a classified section where you can sell stuff. Someone has a coach bag on there and she's selling it for $350.00 - she's only owned it for about 5 months.
Problem is, is that she says she paid $900 for it! That's a lie and I KNOW it!
I'm not interested in buying the purse, I just don't want someone else to get screwed. Would you message her and catch her in a lie, or let it be?

Yes, looks fake. Also...if you really paid $900 for something, why woudl you take $350 for it? I mean...I see getting $700 for it and losing $250...
I'd say leave it alone. It's really not your problem and it may be more a headache than it is worth to try to tell them that the bag is a fake...they already know it is a fake...
Hmm..I thought about messaging her - nicely, lol - and just saying 'Sorry, but that bag looks fake..'. I don't know if there even is a way to report stuff on that website. I've never had to do it before.

She mentions something about a wallet that isn't pictured.. I'm not terribly familiar with coach, but maybe their wallets run high enough to make the retail for the two be $900+ But I agree with the previous poster that said this bag is fake. I know for a fact that coach doesn't use those metal grommet things (shown on the handles) and they're usually very meticulous when it comes to lining up the CCs on bags. They would never design something where the letters could not be spaced evenly and symmetrically on the center of the bag.
But on another note, I know that when I sell stuff I generally expect to only get about half to a third of what I paid since coach gets marked down and you can readily find things in the outlets.
What would you do?
