Would you Wear this? Coach Bleecker Patchwork Handbag
Coach recently came out with this new Bleecker line about a month ago, which is basically “the new and improved” version of the original Coach Duffle Sac that was produced in the early 70’s.

The unique looking bag is new to the Bleecker collection. It's created with a patchwork of foliage colored leather pieces on the vintage inspired slouchy shape.

I guess the shape is okay, but you know it reminds me of those vintage coach bags that you can find at any antique-retro-vintage shop, that usually retail for no more than $80. And that patchwork pattern looks too old fashioned. Like a bag you would find hiding in the dark corner of your grandmothers closet. Maybe its just me. What do you guys think?

So the simple question is… would you wear this bag? Or even pay in the neighborhood of $700 for creation?

I am not too sure about this bag, it reminds me of the hippies from when I was a little kid. Maybe the "Mamas and the Papas"...[i]California Dreamin. If I felt like wearing a long skirt and some Birkis I think the bag would go fine.

Eww... it looks like something my mom would have owned. And she would buy her bags and wallets from the state prison! They had a gift shop there that had leather goods made by inmates that people could come in and purchase.

has anyone else noticed the price of a coach bags has increased drastically over the last few years? I mean really. $800 for a coach??

As much as I love Coach I would not buy this bag and this price is just ridiculous for it!! But the prices have gone up ALOT!! My mom says a few years ago she would pay about $200-300 for a bag

Yea the prices have inflated bigtime!....For that amount i rather get an LV or a bbag.....not coach!....sorry....and that patchwork bag is just sad....

yes, i would. i was kinda lookin at the solid ink-blue color. i think it looks nice with the clothes in fashion right now and nice to just carry around everywhere

For the price, I would not buy it. If it were a couple hundred dollars cheaper and a solid color instead of the crazy patchwork, then maybe it would stand a chance...

well i'd sport it now trying to find some patch boots to match or some cute patch leather heels or wedges would be the challenge. i remember having a patch leather years ago and not too many people had it. i like anything odd. hook up odd with the right assessories then you have all the girls saying OOH I LIKE THAT.

Personally, no. It reminds me of vintage patchwork bags from the 80's that you see at Goodwill, just higher quality. Not my style.

omg! they lowered the price on their site... now only $198

it must have been an error or something.
