I agree about the bag looking a little weird. The alignment isn't the same along the seams as it is in the stock photo. You're wondering about the price though, and FYI I did see this style on clearance. That could explain the cheap price... but that alignment really bothers me. Something just isn't right.

on clearance?! lucky! in toronto, it's still regular price

to be safe, i'm going to forget about the item (better safe than sorry). so i went and brought the pink head scarf/ribbon (the last one in toronto!) and a brown wristlet (the wider one) so i still end up getting "that same look" :)

You're in Canada? Yeah, they probably don't mark stuff down like they do here. I saw them on clearance at Von Maur. I'm not sure if it was all of the colors or just some of them.

^^^^ Fake - the creed is wrong (not enough #s) and you can tell that the patches are not authentic signature.

Nope, its fake. That's the only color (the one in the stock photo) that that bag came in.

Looks like a fake to me. The straps are oddly placed in the middle, just looks wrong.

Hi,
One of my daughters bought a "Coach" patch work handbag while visiting the Bahamas. The serial number on it is "M04K-5659". The leather tag sewn inside indicates that the bag was Made In China. Since she kinda figured it wasn't authentic at the time, she didn't pay very much for it. However, she asked me to write to thebagforum on the remote chance it might be. LOL

Hi! Greetings from Houston. Unlike the bag, I'm brand new. This rockie needs your help:

I read Margo's post on the history of Coach creeds and thought it was great. While reading it, I compared the creeds with the one in a vintage bag I have and noticed that the wording is a bit different. Given the fake plague, I'm wondering if it's authentic. I'd love to know your opinion(s). Can you help out this rockie?

The bag is a vintage Coach drawstring purse; tan/khaki and brown with a tan/khaki lining. The creed is in the xxxx-xxx format and it reads:
COACH (no "leatherware")
THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT IS HAND-
MADE OF GENUINE FULL-GRAIN
LEATHER, AND IS SPECIALLY
TREATED TO MAINTAIN A NEW
APPEARANCE OVER TIME.
MADE IN THE UNITED STATES
No 0567-343

What do you think?
