Baby, your bags look like authentic Vintage Coach bags. The style, I believe, is called a Kent Satchel.

1st I want to say that this forum is awesome!!! I wish I would have found you earlier!!! I just bought myself ANOTHER coach purse...this time it was from ebay and I think it's real....at least I hope it is....

I'm quite sure it's pretty old...maybe from the 80's? It's a large leather tote...I know the leather is real, I can tell my the smell. There is no lining, just the leather inside. There is also a flap pocket inside with one zipper. The creed is stamped, no additional sewn tag. I do see an embossed bullseye near the coach logo...I'm guessing it's from an outlet store?

The stamp with serial # is quite faded & kinda hard to read but it says in all caps:

THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN TURKEY OF COMPLETELY NATURAL GLOVE TANNED COWHIDE. THE VARIATIONS IN THE GRAIN ARE CHARACTERISTIC OF NATURAL FULL-GRAIN LEATHER. NO J7I-4140.

The brass buckles do not have coach stamped on them and it has a stamped leather hangtag.

Could anyone help? I'm interested in knowing how old it is and it's history.

I can't decide if I want to keep it or not or if the price I paid was a fair price ($100). I really like the size, I guess I'm just a little disappointed in it....I think I'm too vain because I want everyone who sees my carrying this to KNOW it's a coach and not have to think twice! I'm such a materialistic girl!!!! I want to include pics but I don't know how...if anyone can help....PLEASE DO! I only have a few days to send this back if I want.

The older versions of Coach bags did not have a lining...I have an old one from back in the day.
You can post pics now that you have a post. Just click on the go advanced and click on manage attatchments. It will guide you through it. Post a pic so we can see what you have.

As for your Coach bag, please post pictures. That will help a lot! When posting a new reply, simply scroll down until you see the "Attach Files" area. Click on the "Manage Attachments" button and then click the "Browse" button in the new window that pops up. Select the picture you want and then click the "Upload" button. The attachment will appear in the "Attach Files" area.

My husband (bless his hart) just bid and won a "coach" bag on eaby. I had mentiond that I liked them and now he has bought one for me. The listing number was #250203841826 I have not got it yet. I would have never bought a bag on ebay...men, what you gona do with them?.

It looks like some sort of pouch... but I can't tell anything from that pic. You'll have to post pics of your own when you get the bag.

Your bag looks like a vintage Coach to me... I forget the name of the style though.
