Default Authentic Coach Purse? Demi 6094

    Hello everyone!

I recently bought a Coach bag on eBay. It was an impulse buy and I regret I didn't take extra steps to ensure the bag's authenticity before bidding. I received the bag in the mail today and compared it with some of the guides here.

After comparing, I'm almost positive that the bag is fake given that the C's don't line up exactly like this picture:

    http://www.coach.com/assets/product_...n2/6094_d2.jpg

There is also a space in the serial code between the O in No and the letter H. And the dustbag that it came with have white drawstrings, not red.

However, before contacting the seller regarding the bag's authenticity I wanted to come here to confirm if the bag is fake or not. I took some pictures of the bag here:

Also, here is the URL of the original listing:

COACH Signature Demi Pouch black 6094 purse NWT $148* - eBay (item 160309487182 end time Jan-18-09 20:18:00 PST)

Much help would be appreciated!! Thanks!!

    Default help with authentication?

    hi there.

a good friend of mine put a bid on this bag and i'm nervous for her b/c of the sellers lack of feedback and lack of ebay presence in the past few years.

there are very few pictures on the listing, so i'm not sure there's enough info listed to verify authenticity. the stock # doesn't look like it matches this bag style.

    item number 120365707816.

can she retract her bid if we determine that this is not legit?

    thanks.

The style number that is listed is not correct. I wouldn't proceed.

There's really not enough info to determine if the bag is authentic or not. i would send the seller a message and ask for clear pictures of all sides of the bag, and the interior creed - which would show the true style number and other markings.

I believe you can go ahead and retract a bid - I recently had someone do that on one of my auctions. The "reason" was "entered wrong amount".

Yeah, but I thought they were making these again. And even yours is different than Coach's stock photo, see:

It seems as though the placement of the C's depends on when the bag was made.

well i typed in the end of the serial number and that bag DOES show up. i dont really see anything fishy about the bag in general. i dont know what others opinions may be on it, but it looks fine to me.
