Coach Handbag: Please help authenticate purse! - Page 12

Hi Everyone,
I am another newbe and hope I am in the right place. Like others before me, I bought a coach bag on ebay and now with it in my hands, I have my doubts. It is used, so it is an older style, black leather, It has the creed patch, plain black lining, leather hand tag, and the # is L9B 7783. It also has a sewn in label on the side near the bottom with Coach est 1941. The ebay # is 280211169785. If anyone knows about this style or has the time to check it out, I would be deeply appreciative. I have a newer signature bag so I know the quality of the coach brand. This purse just doesn't have the weight I expected from a coach leather. Thanks....love this site!!

Hey guys as promise . I wrote to you guys as soon I get my hands on the one that I got in Ebay I said that I will et your opinions on the authenticity on it. So far I had taken this to 2 expets in vintage coach and too the bravery to ask at the Coach Store about the real deal. They raise some concerns regarding the glueish part in the bag. But according to them it looks real minus that part.And now the seller is asking me to remove my neutral fb cause appereantly am lying!!! I've decided to be patient and get my own from the store!!

I found two bags today at a yard sale. I've never owned a coach. These are very thick leather. By searching the web I found this forum. I learned here these bags have serial numbers. Can you tell me whether my bags are real or not? If so, how old are they? M4C-9955 (looks like it could be for makeup or a camera?) and H5C-9950 (small backpack) Thanks very much

Hello! The one ending in 9950 belongs to Janice's Legacy Hobo. Here's a picture:

The other one (ending in 9955) I am not sure about. Can you take pictures of the bags and post them? That would help a lot.

i've never ebay-ed designer items before...but i saw this bag and liked the colours. Although, i have never seen this bag in stores before, i really dont know how to tell if something is a fake. Thus, the reason i dont buy these types of things online lol Thankfully it didn't cost a lot. I really have my doubts...

Yes, its authentic. Don't pay too much for it though... I saw them on clearance at TJ Maxx and Marshall's a couple of weeks ago.

thanks. i didnt pay much for it, i bought it to use it at the beach on vacation in a couple weeks lol
