Okay, I was in the thread?? My head is spinning, I really don't get how this forum works!! I'll figure it out soon.
Q: I thought all outlet bags had the big target symbol on them, is that not right anymore-I don't see one in the picture??

^^^ I can see the target symbol in the pic. It's just really hard to see with the funny angle and all. But actually no, not all outlet bags have the target symbol on them. But in that case, the style number would include "FS" before the 4-5 digit number indicating that it is a factory store item.

Oh, and sorry for the confusion. We just have a long continuous thread created just for authenticating handbags. You had started a new thread, so I just merged it into the original one. Sorry about that!

anyone know where i could look up serial numbers of coach purses to make sure its real or not?... Not sure if you can do it on the coach site or not, but im having a slow day so yeah... any help would be great. thanks

Yes it does. I think my favorite bag is fake though!!! Grr! The number I put in is the EXACT style, but it is different colors. That sucks. oh well, thats what you get from buying somewhere you know you shouldnt.

^^^ If its the same style but a different color that pops up in dd, then that doesn't mean that the bag you have is fake. They only have one stock photo for each style and each style comes in different colors (but will all have the same number).

I realized that after i wrote it & felt dumb... Lol, but one of my bags that an ex's mom gave me is fake... and one isn't. Makes me feel better. (= Thanks guys!

Good morning everyone, I bought this bag on Ebay and wanted to double check and make sure it was authentic? From what I can see, I think it is the real thing.
Serial #D0773-11072. I could not find this bag on the Coach site, and better to be safe than sorry. Thanks in advance!

Okay, heres how it went - i told my boyfriend i always wanted a Coach bag and a new wallet and he is a eBay shopper. So he went on eBay and brought me a Coach signature pouch and a Coach signature coin purse. The thing thats bothering me is, like I've never seen the Coach coin purse ever, not that i know off. and the Coach signature pouch doesn't have a serial number on it and its really bothering me. But the eBay seller also gave me a gift receipt. so if by any chance will it also be possible for me to exchange these stuff for something different?

I'm pretty new at these coach stuff! so maybe i can learn from the professionals here.

Both look fine to me, looks like the seller is an outlet shopper.

Anyway, the small leather goods (which includes pouches) usually do not have the creed patch in them. So I wouldn't be too worried about the fact that those don't.
