Default identifying the style/model name of vintage bags

i have been having a difficult time finding good sources for identifying the style or model of vintage coach bags. i have even gone into a coach store as recommended, but no one could help me.

does anyone have reliable sources that they can recommend? i would truly appreciate your guidance.

I'm new here. Does anyone know about this coach purse? Please let me know if you do! I just purchased at thrift store. IMG_6616.JPGIMG_6618.JPGIMG_6619.JPGIMG_6624.JPG
ALSO, NO. ON TAG IS 069-1242 AND THE TAG HAS "COACH WITH LEATHERWARE" UNDERNEATH, AT BOTTOM SAYS "MADE IN NEW YORK CITY, USA"
Thanks again for any info. I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum.

Can you give us dimensions? Several Coach bags look so much alike and the dimensions are the only way to tell them apart when just looking at a photo. Otherwise, that's a nice bag from the New York City era! It looks like a Pocket Purse but again, there other larger versions that are built like this called something else.

OK, that sounds like it could be the "convertible clutch". It can be worn as a crossbody but I think it's size allows for you to remove the strap and wear it like a nice large cluthc. It's a Good sized bag!! A classic for sure. It's style #- if the bag were being #'d like the 1994 and newer bags, -would be 9635 I believe.
