Re: Coach Handbag: Please help authenticate purse! (Part 2)
edahs, all 3 of the bags posted look fine. they are older styles, and i used to have quite a few of them.
Nothing looks off to me. I would say they are in really good condition too, but do wait for some input from a moderator.Always be kind to people on your way up, because you are sure to meet them on your way down

Re: Coach Handbag: Please help authenticate purse! (Part 2)
I was just looking at these (I was busy over the weekend
). I am not terribly good with vintage styles, but I'm thinking the last 2 are okay. The first one bugs me a little bit though. What's bothering me is the serial number. It has an "E" in it and from what I understand, 80s serial numbers only have numbers (not letters). So I'm not sure what to think...

uhgigi - I think you have the numbers switched around with the pictures. I am not familiar with the first one. The second one is the Taylor E/W Zip (9944) and it looks okay to me.

The two Demi bags look fine. If you're wondering what the "N' stamp is on the denim one, it means that it came from a Nordstrom Rack store. Could you post better pics of the vintage one? I'm not familiar with that one.

Re: Coach Handbag: Please help authenticate purse! (Part 2)
I have never seen the vintage one before, so I couldn't tell you much. The serial number indicates it is from the 80s though. The other two bags are Demi pouches. Coach still makes these, but they just show the signature print on their website. They have come out with different variations (fabric-wise) here and there. My guess is that they are no more than 10 years old. I believe the style was introduced when they introduced the signature line, which was somewhere around there (I can't remember for sure).

Re: Coach Handbag: Please help authenticate purse! (Part 2)
I have a mystery for a vintage, (maybe VERY vintage) Coach expert. I found this bag at a thrift shop and when I laid eyes on it I thought "Wow, OLD coach!". It's really aged, the patina suggests lots of use, the inside needs cleaning up, but the stitching, turnlock, bag style/quality is so totally like a coach. But....it has NO stamp, creed, etc inside. It seems much too old to have been faked. It has a strange # imprinted inside the bottom corner. I hope my photos will be good enough to get some opinions. Maybe it's pre 1962? a prototype? who knows.

Authentic Coach Wallet :: babycd :: List4All
This is posted on my local list4all.
I am brand new to anything designer, but I am sure this is a fake after reading all the posts here.
Letter G's instead of letter C's.
Anyone else notice more?
