Thanks :)

dottiennorman - The bag you are showing is fake. Sorry, can you get your money back?
Going to move this to the appropriate thread.

Re: quick response needed, Coach bargain or bust!
I'm sure going to try. Fortunately I did not pay much (was my first concern) so tossing the bag is certainly an option. Thank you so much for this forum. It saves people from buying crap and from selling crap too :)
I appreciated your looking at the pictures and for your responses. I was fooled for a moment but information here caused enough concern to check.
You gals are awesome!

If my understanding is correcta coach authentic bag has only four numbers after the dash and that is what the style is. Am I correct? This is a great replica!! And I am MAD!! L
Thanks!

From what I can see, it looks alright. A style number can be 4 or 5 numbers. The F in front of the style number indicates an outlet style.

Re: Coach Handbag: Please help authenticate purse! (Part 2)
So because this has an F in front of the style number, it was bought at an outlet and isn't worth as much as one that has been bought at a coach store? OK that makes sence but how much less are these bags worth? Should I prefer a bag fro a boutique rather than an outlet?
The onr thing that made me think this wasnt a coach bag is in the pic where you can see the piping, it looks pieced together. Is that why it was then left to an outlet? Because I have one exactly like this one that is not from an outlet and the piping doesnt look like that. OR do they have different grades of COACH? Im confused. How do I learn these things?

Re: Coach Handbag: Please help authenticate purse! (Part 2)
Thanks MilWife!! I have been waiting all weekend for someone to answer for me!! lol I have always thought it was real, but after everything I have read on here, I just want to be sure in case I decide to sell it. I bought it at a second hand store for $3 abought 2 years ago. I also had no idea that it was from the 80's either. I love this website!! I have learned a lot about coach purses that I never knew. Thanks again!
