Please have a look at this one too. The dark areas are from me cleaning it.

Default I have a question about a Coach Wallet I purchased a while back.

Tomorrow I'm doing a demonstration speech on how to spot a fake coach from an authentic Coach handbag. I'm a big Coach fan. I have shoes, bags, wallets, wristlets. However I ended up buying a checkbook wallet on ebay. I personally think it's authentic but the symetrical c's, the centering, the double stitching, the outside zipper pocket with "YKK", the brown box, the retail tag, but one thing really caught my eye. On the inside, where you have the two compartments, the middle section divided the two, the leather is glued. There is no stitching. I have looked at other pictures of authentic ones and some have stitching and some don't. The woman said she bought it a boutique in Cali. Out of all the things that make this wallet seem "Authentic" that small thing makes me question its authenticity. I was wondering if you guys could help me out. If you need me to post pictures I will tomorrow. It's the 6k13 dark brown hamptons checkbook wallet.

Yeah, I have class this morning but when I get home I'll do it right away. It's bothering me not being able to tell.

I'm 99.9% sure this bag is authentic. Just by the pictures. The other looks pretty authentic but i'm not too familiar with those type of coach bags.

Here are the pictures. My wallet thing is in use right now with my other purse because the wallet that matches it isn't a checkbook wallet. That's why it is seperated from the wallet in the photos.

If you look at the middle part with the leather at the top, you can see it's not stitched. This is the only thing that makes me think it's not authentic. I couldn't get a pic that shows the zipper saying "YKK" but it's there.

Everything on the wallet looks perfectly fine besides that. The c's are symmetrical and everything.

I agree with Muffy. Looks like an older Coach Factory wallet.

Could you post clear, detailed photos? I can't tell anything from these. I also can't get them to open.

I see the pics but I am not sure on this one something looks off on the c's in the first two pics ...it appears fake to me.

From what I can see, it looks kind of off to me too. I have noticed that on most fake handbags, some of the words on the creed are spelled wrong. Does it have a "YKK" zipper?

I want to buy my first Coach bag and I am trying to see if I can find an authentic one on eBay, however I am paranoid that I can not tell the difference. What do you guys think? What is making it so hard for me is that the picture off the Coach website for this bag shows the C's overlapping, not centered, etc. It goes against everything I've read about how to tell fake Coach. Please help!

Besides using the authentication details, i would also count on the feedback of teh seller on ebay. This particular seller has sold over 7000 items with over 99.9% positive feedback, which is pretty good.

I have not seen this style up close, so i would wait for someone else to authenticate it for you.
    Good Luck
