Check out this Christian Dior newbie’s over at eLuxury. As I saw this Dior, I couldn’t help to think that from the looks of pre-fall 08’ bags, it seems like the color plum is going to be a pretty popular hue for this coming fall. Many designers, including Dior, have released handbags and accessories in the gorgeous shades of purple.

The Dior Charming Large Shopper is the latest edition to the Cannage line. Its signature pattern can be found embroidered throughout the bags body. Although its pattern is nothing beyond spectacular, I definitely admire it. The Cannage line carries such a chic and sophisticated pattern, and for that reason, there is no question of why the House of Dior has released Cannage accessories in different patterns and colors in the past.

In reference to this handbag, I adore the rich shade of plum, but I don’t think I feel the same way towards this totes overall silhouette. There is just something about its appearance that doesn’t really appeal to my taste. I think it’s the fact that this Dior is all satin and nylon that bothers me a bit because I know for a fact that I would prefer an embroidered-pattern leather bag, a lot more.

I can't believe I'm not sick of purple yet.. I just love the color. But about the shape, I totally agree with you. Also I prefer leather over nylon.
