Hi there. Does anyone here own a dior flight bag? Im almost sure that mine is authentic. The shearling is soft and the leather too, hardware is all good. Bag has a serial number behind the internal tag. The zipper says lampo underneath. Only question I have is about the snap on the belt that goes around the bag and snaps at the bottom. The upper part of the snap that is visible says Dior but the bottom part says Yik Fung. I was told by the seller that many designer brands now use china branded snaps... someone please help!!! Is this true or does this mean my bag is a fake?

Unfortunately, you can never trust these online retailers so I come to you Dior lovers for your expert advice! This is my FIRST dior bag and i hope to god it's real because I have been carrying on as if it were. But, I am no expert so I have no idea. I've taken lots of pics, so hopefully you guys can pleaseeeee help!

Crosses fingers. Also, the authenticity card didn't match the serial on the bag. I called the Dior store and the lady told me that they just stuff the cards in the bags because they get them separately. Is this true? I mean, I really don't think the woman would lie to me, lol, but what's the point of the auth card?

I don't notice anything unusual about your bag that would be a red flag or anything. The date code looks good... but I'm not a huge expert on Dior. I did check out the site you mentioned... as far as I can tell they are a legit site. Lots of good reviews on yahoo... and they are a BBB member. Although that doesn't necessarily mean anything (as I've learned), at least that shows that they are making an effort to please customers. Sorry I can't be of more help.

ya i know! i checked out the site again and saw the bbb thing which helps.. but.. who knows. the people on ebay are like, "i dont have a good feeling about the bag" but i dont understand.. i know the hardware is different and i asked the lady (sabine) about it and she said it's the paris version and the american version has the hardware with the Ds .... the logo on the bottom of the bag even matches up and thats an important thing when authenticating ya know??? thanks for your help anyway, i think next time im in vegas i'm just going to see if they know lol!!

I usually post upon The Purse Forum and am pretty new here...I have heard lots of great things about Sabine's over on The Purse Forum and that they do sale authentic bags, although I have never personally purchased from them. best wishes!
Unfortunately I believe both of these Dior Gaucho handbags are fake. Dior Gaucho handbags do not come with the grey colored Dior authenticity card that has gold writing upon the front. This Dior authenticity card comes with the older Dior handbags, such as the Street Chic, older Lady Dior bags and so forth. The Dior Gaucho should always come with the newer Dior authenticity card that has only "Christian Dior" in black writing upon the front. Please see pics below. best wishes!
