I think I'm leaning towards the petit tote. The timeless looks more like an evening bag with the shorter strap. I want to use it for all occasions, value for money and all that!

LOL! I know! I just decided to replace my Chanel early this week to a more classic design. I'm shipping my CC tote to fashionphile next week and it so happens that I found the bag I wanted so quickly at the right price. |

Ummm i dont really like the Petit Shopper Tote handle ..
So i would say go for the Timeless Tote :)

None. I find the look, feel and quality of the leather on these bags below Chanel standards. It looks and feels fake to me.

Too late! I've already got it. Are you talking about the caviar leather. I really like the caviar leather cause the lambskin damages too easily. I'd rather have a bag that's durable when I pay a lot for it then worry about it getting scratched and damaged every time I touch it. |
