^^^Oh HELL yes, LOL!!! I'm going to NY and coming home with a new baby! Though since I've decided not to go with Chanel, I'm not going to spend as much as a flap costs on other bags. I think one bag and a wallet is more reasonable. Either the lockit, damier speedy 30, MAYBE the MC speedy and a wallet (if i don't get the MC speedy).

Now I'll have to wait a long time before I can get a Chanel flap...oh well....

^^True. I'd feel weird spending THAT much on a handbag, especially when it's over 2k!! I'd feel so guilty.

I'll be so jealous if you get the damier speedy, lol!! I love that bag.

I'd go for that one over the MC to be honest.

does anyone know whether I could order a bag from chanel.com by phone and have them shipped to me? I live in the US? Since there is no online shopping for chanel, I wonder if I could just order by phone.

I just called chanel.com and they're going to hook me up with a SA so that I could order the white clutch...yay....I have wanted it for a long time..

can't afford a flap yet

even the timeless clutch is over 1000 now....now I'm debating whether I should get it. Though I've wanted this clutch for a long time, it's so $$$$. I feel guilty spending so much $$$ on a clutch

The price increases are insane. I kick myself every day for not going after a chanel flap when I first got into handbags almost two years ago - then, the prices were SO much cheaper than they are now, but I was still like, almost $2k is so much...

NOW I'm like ARGH! it's so much more now! why didn't I go for it then? tg for vintage and ebay.

HAHAHA....um, yeah....won't be getting a Chanel flap for a while now.....

serioulsy though, their increases are by the hundreds of dollars whereas LV, for example, isn't so bad and increases like $50 per every $1000 or so. but i also wish that i would have a gotten a flap when they were so much less expensive....

I know what you mean. Just over a year ago the GST was retail at around $1600, now the price is over $2200.
