Hardware for Classic Flap

If I decide to get a classic flap, I'm debating between black with gold OR silver hardware. I love the gold but is it too flashy? I've always been more of a silver person anyways. What do you guys think?

I think I like the silver better. I have a navy with gold and it is rather bright.

^^^Oh i'd love a navy one instead of black...but they are seasonal, right?

but i think the only one i like with gold is beige...they're so lovely together. i suppose silver would be my choice with like black or navy...

^^^ If you'll get more use out of silver than gold, then go for silver, of course. I personally prefer Gold... I love gold on black combinations.

To me navy isn't seasonal, which is why I bought it instead of black. Black yells chilly weather to me. I'm weird though. I don't do white or beige bags so even in the summer time, I tend to have darker bags. I have a Chloe paddington in creme that is just sitting there. I wonder if I'll get it out and wear it or end up Ebaying it.

Oh, I meant to ask if they are only available during a certain time of the year. I'd much rather a navy then black!!! Do you know if they are available in navy?

these are just random combos i like even if some aren't made:

black with gold
navy with gold OR silver
white with silver
pink with silver
beige with gold
dark red with gold

I think i'm going to stick with a darker color though because i'd be too afraid to use a lighter one! I guess it really comes down to the colors of the bag...for me anyways...

I like them both - guess I'm not the only one, it looks like the vote is tied right now!

If I had to choose, I guess it would have to be gold, since it stands out more. Silver is a little more young/modern though.

gold definetly.... i don't think it's flashy, it's classic and it tarnished better in years.

gold is classic, silver makes it edgy (if you know what i mean)....go with your heart, you can't go wrong with either!

i decided on the silver hardware. gold is a little dated for me. the silver is more modern and casual...so silver it is!
