Chanel online?

I'm planning to buy my first Chanel bag, and need help looking for more information. Unfortunately, I find the Chanel website rather un-user-friendly if one is looking for details to inform a purchase, and I can't find any e-tailers carrying (real) Chanel. I was hoping you experts would point me in the right direction! What are the best sites to stalk to find out about the latest bags from Chanel? Are there any e-tailers at all that carry Chanel?

I'm thinking of getting a large (or jumbo if I can get my hands on one!) Chanel Classic Flap Bag or the Reissue 2.55. I want something very simple, classic, and elegant. I thought I was set on getting the large Classic until I saw this beautiful jumbo reissue in lamb skin (or at least that's what I think it is) in the Chanel store today. It has two compartments inside, no inside flap (I think), and the clasp was not the interlocking Cs. It comes in red and camel. I fell in love with the bag, but didn't get a chance to study it properly. Hence I'm trying to find out more online! Specifically, whether it's a limited edition, so I know if the clock is ticking away...

Any advice or information would be much appreciated. :)

Well officially Chanel doesn't authorize any online retailing.Your best bet is to look on ebay but be sure to have it authenticated in the forum as even the fake sellers will guarantee authenticity!There are a few websites that sell second-hand..

Hm, IMO, I wouldn't look on ebay, I've seen many good fakes. That's just a risk I wouldn't take on such a highly counterfeited brand.

Don't forget Let-Trade's website... sheesh, I sound like I'm advertising for them I mention them so much! LOL! Well, anyway, they do have some lovely second-hand bags... some of them nearly new!

I wouldn't worry about the website I gave you, its a reputable place to do business with. And Ann's Fabulous Finds (which someone else mentioned) is a reputable place as well. I don't know about the other two websites, I've never purchased anything from them before. The only catch with these guys is that they don't sell new bags, only used ones. So if its a new Chanel style you're looking for, it may be a while before one makes its way to the second-hand market.
