no, i think it's just the right size for me because personally i prefer big bags. it is easy for me to store all my necessities that i need to bring plus some extra room to spare in case i buy something. for some people, one of their considerations when purchasing a bag of varying sizes would be their body structure and height. i had a petite friend who stands 5 feet tall and she steers clear from huge bags because she feels like its overpowering her and that it emphasizes her "cuteness."
I love big bags (and I'm only 5' 5"!) because you can put anything into them and as a mother of two aged 3 yrs. and 4 mos., I need the extra room. You can never go wrong with a classic black quilted Chanel bag. The 2.55 is still my favorite.

I am 5"2 and sadly, I love huge bags. I typically stop at about the size of the Juicy Daydreamer bag. I don't want to look like I could curl up in my bag and take a nap. lol
