Default Chanel Maxi flap bag - comfortable?

    Hey Everyone,

I am considering of buying a Chanel Maxi double flap in Caviar. I love the size etc. My only concern: Are the chain straps uncompfortable?

I have tried the bag on in the shop (empty) and the weight is absolutely fine with me. My concern is def not about the weight etc. However, If the bag is like super uncompfortable, I would def. consider not buying it.

So any of you guys who own the Chanel Maxi, could you please share you experience with me? Thanks so much!!

I personal don't carry my maxi that much due to it's size and how heavy it gets when filled (and I have a habit of shoving everything into my bag) It sort of depends on if you do the single strap or the double, I can get uncomfortable with the weight.
Have you thought of maybe going one size down and getting a Jumbo? I love my jumbo and tend to carry that more unless I am dressing up then I will grab my large flap.

Hello Flygal, Thank you for your reply and for your input.

The Jumbo unfortunately is not the correct size for me. I tried it on but liked the maxi better. I also loved the medium/large size (one smaller than jumbo), especially for going out in the evening.
About the maxi size: I do not have a problem with the size or weight per se (most of my bags are bigger than it anyway). But I ofcourse do not have any experience with the "compfortableness" of the straps. But I am assuming that since they are out of chain, they could dig into the shoulder a bit?

    Thanks again for your help.

I own a Maxi, personally, it's the perfect size for me. It is large, regardless, I like it and fits my lifestyle. It can get heavy once you fill it up. Though it doesn't seem to bother me. So have you made a decision yet?
