ok so when you say black on white are you meaning black ccs on a white bag? or white cc's on a black bag? also on the bags posted...ate they suppose to be two handles for each side? (does that make sense?) and also the bags posted, every single one is suppose to magenta inside?

hi, I have 8 chanel bags that were bought all at a chanel boutique. 6 of them were made in ITALY and 2 were made in FRANCE. Some of their classics were made in france, but majority were made in ITALY.

question--

on chanel totes, are the corners always in line with the stitching? just wondering.. cause ive seen some with the corners like not in the same angle as the quilt stitches. thx!!

I actually just joined the board because I recently bought a Chanel Cambon locally that was said to be fake, but I have my suspicions. After spending $800 for a "used authentic" bag, I've found some things that do not seem "real".. Okay the zipper pull inside has the double c's on one side and Chanel on the other, but the outside zipper for the main compartment says chanel on both sides. questionable quality #1. Secondly, there seems to be an extra pocket inside. Ie. it has the zipper pocket on one side with the chanel patch and the other has the two pencil/pen compartment with the other pouch, but there's a large pouch directly outside of that one( kind of with the pencil and other pouch inside) acting as almost a separation between the zipper pocket and the pencil area. Lastly, I found that inside the double c's on the outside pockets are the X screws not the / screws. I've checked with eBay guides and did my best to check with authentic ones on eBay before purchasing, but unfortauntely I was having cramps and don't think I checked all that I should have.

If I'm in the wrong section, I'm sorry. I'm new and trying to figure this all out. I have pictures if anyone can tell by looking. The usually tell take signs of the handbag all passed- right colors inside and out, c's in right overlap, the number on the card with the white circle in the right hand corner with matching # to number inside. I'm filing a police report in the next couple of days, but would like to be 100% before I go after this woman..

Fetish4Fashion, you might want to browse ioffer.com and see if any of the "Chanels" there have similar features. That place is a treasure trove to browse to see what the latest fakes look like. All models of fake are there with great, clear photos.

Thanks Magnolia. I checked on eBay too and their forum said it's for sure a fake. I'm filing a police report today/tomorrow. We'll hope she'll just give me back my money- not make this difficult..

I feel like had I known I was buying a fake( although had I known I never would have bought it), I wouldn't have been so disapppointed. It certainly wasn't worth $800 and the deception of it all gets to me. Sellers of fakes should be jailed. I guess I'll just attack the issue one person at a time.
