    Thumbs down Chanel Handbag Price Increase

    Chanel is getting ready for another price increase - and I'm not surprised!

    Come August 1st Chanel's prices are once again set to rise. MadisonAveSpy reported that in 2008, the 227 Reissue was $2850 and today the same bag costs $3600 and could jump to $4100. That's a 40% increase in just two years!!

    I mean, no offense, but Chanel is just NOT worth that much money! I'd rather spend $4000 on LV, or save it and buy a Birkin.

    ehh...I think it's time for me to find vintage 2.55 . Every time I get close to saving enough money for it, they increase the price :/

    Is the price increase only in the US? I was in copenhagen/ denmark today, and they havent had any increases this year...
    Then it won´t be any chanel for me when I go to LA this week...

    I can't fathom where they can warrent the price increase. You would think, with this economy, that they would be giving incentives.
