I actually searched for chanel purses on yahoo & it came up with this website. I don't remember exactly what it was called but it was something like china stop.com or something. I recently heard that china makes a lot of fakes that are very similar to the real thing.

So where can I find a real Chanel that might not be too expensive?

Would you consider buying pre-loved? There are several sellers, like Let-Trade, that offer Chanel bags.

JMG, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Like bRs said, if you don't mind it being pre-owned, I would check out Let-Trade.com or Malleries.com. You could also check eBay, but send us the link or pictures to make sure it's authentic :)

I visited their site, which was kind of hard to navigate around. I don't know if they just had vintage bags, but they looked a little odd. However, the clothes are authentic.

They are authentic but I haven't purchased from them yet. They must have a good following because whenever I log on and see something new, it's already sold.
