Chanel Handbag: Please help authenticate purse! - Page 6

Hi all,

I'm new, this is my first post!

I've been looking at Cambon bags on ebay and found one:

I can't yet post links because I haven't posted before, but if you go to ebay and write 'chanel cambon bag' it comes up. It's a bucket one, retailing for the price below.

Ok, there are no detailed pictures but from what is there - the lining/quilting matching up etc it doesn't look too bad. BUT there's NO WAY it could be selling for £55?!

What do you think? Does that mean it has to be a fake? Aside from the stupid price, does it seem fake?

::squinting:: You can't see much in those pics. But for that price and the fact that they have 11 of them available for sale, I'm going to say its a fake.

It's hard to tell with both of those bags. Vintage throws off my radar because they change things over time. Bidding for the second one has ended and they got it pretty cheap, so keep your eye out on the first one and ask them some questions, like if they can get you a picture of the hologram and/or #s. Also ask how old the purse is and look up other purses from the same time period to see if they match the purse you're looking at.

Nothing on iOffer is ever real. Even if it says authentic, it's not. If you want to buy a fake bag then go there, but always check eBay for purses. Most items on iOffer are from Asia and are never authentic. There is still the risk of getting ripped off from someone of eBay, however, iOffer encourages the sale of replica items, therefore you are never going to find an authentic item on there.

^^^I cannot see the whole entire bag, but the interior does look authentic!!! So, yes, Chanel does carry bags with the interior that looks like that....

Hmm... is that supposed to be a Cabas (I'm going by the pic that shows the handle and charm)? Chanel does use lining that looks like that, but did the white Cabas have black lining? I thought it was white... but I don't remember for sure or not. Anyone know?

Bag is sold, but now i am interesting was it fake or not. I have also seen one lady with a whit cabas and brown inside, and i think she does not wear fakes. Does anybody else know is the 3 card ok..
