Honestly, she's just a 15 year old. And what 15 year old didn't take pictures of themselves, and flirt with boys, and take pictures with boys, and all of that stuff.
She's just got this huge spotlight on her because she's a "celebrity". I think people should just leave her alone and let her be. I know she's supposed to be a "role model," but honestly, she's just a kid. She needs to be able to find herself without the pressure of society beating her down.

Agreed. Even though the pictures from what I've seen are pretty tasteless.

It was probably stupid to take these photos in the first place, even if it pretty common amongst the younger set.

I think the internet has destroyed any childness one can have. It used to be that my mom would say "never put into writing what you don't want the world to know", but now you can't even have a bad hair day or a pimple without the paparazzi taking your paicture and embarrassing you.
I think she is young and a typical teenager. She needs to be left alone. I don't care if she is a celebrity. She is still a teenager. We all did things at that age that make us groan now.
I would agree with you, but with all the whining she did over the Annie Leibovtz shoot I don't think she deserves a break. The above photo shows more skin then any of the Liebovtz, so I want to know is Miley all embarrassed and shamed over this pic. Most likely not.

There is a difference between doing something childish in private (which should have stayed private) and having pictures like that splashed all over the place. Personally I don't see anything wrong with the Annie pictures, but there should have been more consideration from Annie in regard to the context of the photos considering that Miley is a Disney child. She should have gone more G rated with them.

She wasn't the one complaining about the Leibovitz photos, it was everyone else. She only made a statement because she was told to. She made a statement previous to it saying that no one forced her to do it and that she thought the shots were beautiful.

I don't think she has to be a role model. I mean, she's a singer and an actress. People put too much pressure on celebrities. They are normal people who have jobs that put them in the spotlight. I don't think celebrities should have to live up to some standard that society wouldn't pose on itself.
