"Talk about a super sweet 16! A tiara-wearing Miley Cyrus has an early b-day party (her big day is Nov. 23) during a visit Monday to The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The Hannah Montana star told the talk-show host about boyfriend Justin Gaston, "He's a singer, he's really cute, and he's nice and he's a Christian and I really like that."
The episode airs Nov. 20."

When Miley first started out she was ok, but then when stardom hit she got really annoying. My question is, Why would her dad let her date a 21 yr old guy when she's only 16?

I am a little confused. if a 25 year old can date a 30 year old and 30 year old a 35 year old, what is the big deal and hoohaa over a 16 year old dating a 21 year old?? the age difference is still only 5 years

I am not being sarcastic or anything, just trying to understand what all the fuss is about

Aah! so that is the reason. I am from a different cultural background, so some of these things seem really weird to me. Even if both consent to it, the older person (guy/girl) is accused of rape

So the law considers kids below 18 old enough to drive, go to college and more, but not old enough to have common sense...hmmm...curious...
