Thread: Burberry Painted Hearts Shoulder Bag

It’s my pleasure to present to you Bagsita’s this collaborated piece by Burberry and Dooney & Bourke!

Ok… I’m totally kidding, but doesn’t this look like something both teams could possibly craft together? I had to stare at this shoulder bag for a couple of seconds just to find its inner Burberry. Who’s idea was this?

Better yet, what inspired Burberry to follow the juvenile trend Dooney has been creating for years. This little shoulder bag, ideal for a night out, features an informal crescent shaped body, lined in the famous check pattern that us Burberry fans simply adore. What I’m on the fence about is that blotch of messy looking hearts that overlap each other; they practically take up the entire bag!

More heart shaped features can be found in charm form dangling off a single side of this “fun” bag. Pretty red patent leather lines this piece and constructs the single flat shoulder strap found on this Burberry. Personally speaking here, I’m done with childish looking accessories as I’ve been seeking more classic, year-round bags instead.

Then again it’s never too early to shop for your Valentines 2010 evening bag.

This is kinda cute, but definitely for the younger crowd. Of course I'm sure it carries a higher price point than a Dooney bag of similar size would.
