I spotted these adorable accessories today and I really can’t get over how cute they are. From a distance, they remind me of a tart piece of candy (I’m thinking skittles) but once you take a better glance at how fun these hobos look, I’d really like to add one of these to my summer handbag collection. A Bottega Veneta handbag is known for it’s superior leather craftsmanship and elegance, not necessarily for its funky, bold, and juvenile features.

With that said, I was really surprised to see these vibrant woven leather goods as part of their collection. This time around, the signature hobo arrives in an extra small size sporting colorful dyed leather. If any of you gals are interested in adding one of these Veneta hobo’s to your collection, do take note of its actual size as they really do run small. The 9” by 5” dimensions portray more of a hand held clutch rather than an actual shoulder bag, and with summer just around the corner, I do wonder if a possible larger hobo in the same pop colors will hit the Bottega collection soon.

That is a cute looking bag!! It would have been great if the straps were longer so it could go over the shoulder.

BV bags tend to slouch aft it's broken in like a good hobo should. You should be able to wear it on your shoulder even if you have a thick coat on. I've tried it IRL and BV bags are totally TDF!! The leather is so supple, I'd compare it to Bal leather only I think it's slightly thicker but it is just as light weight as a Bal.
That's why a medium Veneta in Ebano or Moro is in my HG list, in fact the next bag I'm saving for.
To break it in faster, just hang it on a doorknob and put in several heavy cans. Leave it for a couple of days and it should slouch just beautifully. Or you can let nature do its work and break it in normally

this is adorable, and at such a great price too! I wish it were just a smidge bigger though. This is a great find!
