I'm in the middle of Bloody Mary, by Carolly Erickson. This is a historical biography about Mary, the first Queen of England, and it is fabulous. You need a quiet spot to sit down and read it in, as well the time. She really dives into Henry VIII's wives and the interaction between Mary and these women. As well as just how she was raised, her ideals, her morals, what was expected of her. I hadn't read a biography that went into detail on Katherine of Aragon and I loved that about this book. She was an amazing lady.

"I, Fatty" by Jerry Stahl - it's about Roscoe Arbuckle (aka Fatty) who was a famous movie star in the 1930's and then was brought up on charges of rape and murder. It's said to be his biography that he had told to his assistant "Okie" who then put it into a book. Not sure how much is true or false but it's a terribly sad story about his life, the entertainment industry, and how our obsession with celebrities can completely ruin someone's life and create false accusations.

I read the series again when my 8 year old started them and I loved them. I had forgotten how wonderful they are. He is now just starting A Wrinkle in Time.

I'm reading "The power of a positive NO' by William Ury

it helps you to brush up you negotiation skills, like what the book cover says

it has a lot of real life examples which you can learn from, i think it's a great book, but haven't done reading.
